SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club has acquired $75,000 of 2020 General Allocation Money (GAM) from Columbus Crew SC in exchange for goalkeeper Andrew Tarbell. The Quakes will also receive additional allocation money should Tarbell reach certain performance-based metrics.

He stood out as one of the most respected players in our club and I am glad that this trade gives him a great opportunity to pursue new personal and professional goals.”
Tarbell, 26, joined San Jose as the eighth-overall selection in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. He made 41 appearances for the club from 2016-19.
