SAN JOSE, Calif. –
San Jose Earthquakes midfielders Jackson Yueill and Matheus Silva and defender Kip Colvey will join Reno 1868 FC for their preseason match on Saturday, March 11 against Sacramento Republic FC. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. PT at Greater Nevada Field in Reno, Nev.
Yueill, 19, was selected by the Earthquakes as the sixth overall selection in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft out of UCLA. Yueill is a member of 2017 Generation adidas class and is currently the youngest player on the Quakes roster.
Silva, 20, joined the Quakes on July 15, 2015. Silva appeared in four games, making two starts, for San Jose in 2016 while spending the majority of the season on loan with USL side Arizona United SC.
Colvey, 22, was selected by San Jose in the third round (No. 49 overall) of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft out of Cal Poly SLO. He made three starts in four total appearances for the club in 2016. Colvey is a member of the New Zealand National Team.
The trio was not selected on the 18-man active roster for the club’s 1-0 win over Montreal last week.
