Two guest players will be joining the Quakes Academy for the 2023 Generation adidas Cup in Bradenton, Fla. from April 1-8: forward Chance Cowell and winger Jordi Tortell.
If Chance Cowell’s name looks familiar, it should. Chance is the younger brother of Quakes and U.S. Men’s National Team forward Cade Cowell. The younger Cowell, 14, currently plays for Sacramento Republic FC and has represented both the United States and Mexico at the U15 level. He will play for the Quakes’ U15s.
Jordi Tortell Daly, a 2006, currently plays for Santa Cruz Breakers after previously representing De Anza Force. He was called to a United States U14 minicamp in 2020. Tortell Daly will play for the Quakes’ U17s.
MLS Season Pass will showcase 28 Generation adidas Cup games, including championship matches in both divisions, although none of the Quakes Academy matches during the Group Stage will be streamed.
