SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes forward Cade Cowell has been selected to Major League Soccer’s Team of the Week for Week 5 after scoring in the Quakes’ 2-2 draw against Austin FC.
Cowell, 18, scored the Quakes’ second goal to erase a 2-0 deficit. His goal marks his first of the season and seventh of his MLS career. His Team of the Week selection is his first this season and fourth of his MLS career.
