San Jose Earthquakes forward Cade Cowell has been ranked No. 1 on Top Drawer Soccer’s player rankings for the class of 2022. The 15-year-old recently signed a Homegrown contract with the Quakes and has already seen the field in two MLS preseason matches in 2019.
Cowell joined the Quakes Academy after leading the nation with 34 goals in 32 appearances for the Ballistic United U-15s during the 2017-18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season. He tallied three goals in eight appearances for the Quakes Academy U-17s and briefly played for the Quakes’ U-19s, competing against players who were up to three years older.
