San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski is among 26 players named to the 2019 Major League Soccer All-Star Team. It marks his fifth All-Star appearance, having previously been selected in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016. Quakes Academy Midfielder Sophie Jones Named Gatorade National Girls Soccer Player of the Year
San Jose Earthquakes Academy midfielder Sophie Jones has been named the 2018-19 Gatorade National Girls Soccer Player of the Year. She becomes the first female athlete from the Bay Area to win the national award in any sport since Ashton Purvis (track and field) of Oakland in 2009-10. Telemundo 48 to Air Three 2019 Earthquakes MLS Matches
The San Jose Earthquakes today announced the club has partnered with Telemundo 48 Area de la Bahia / KSTS to air three Spanish-language television broadcasts during the 2019 season. The MLS regular season matches that will air on Telemundo 48 are: July 27 vs. Colorado (6:45 p.m.), Aug. 3 vs. Columbus (6:45 p.m.), and Aug. 24 vs. Vancouver (6:45 p.m.).
