SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski tonight made his 400th regular season appearance in Major League Soccer, becoming just the seventh player, fifth non-goalkeeper, and first forward to reach the milestone.

Wondolowski, 38, is Major League Soccer’s all-time leader in goals scored (168), game-winning goals (46), goals for one club (164, SJ), goals in 1-0 victories (14), and consecutive seasons with 10+ goals (10). He has scored 161 goals since the start of the 2010 season, 45 more than any other player during that time.

Wondolowski is a five-time MLS All-Star (2011-13, 2016, 2019), a two-time Golden Boot Award winner (2010, 2012) and the 2012 MLS MVP.
