Star-Studded Cast
Friday’s match against NYCFC features some of Major League Soccer’s brightest international stars. Spaniard David Villa is leading the league with 13 goals, Englishmen Frank Lampard is coming off a hat trick earning MLS Player of the Week honors and Italian Andrea Pirlo is tied for fifth for assists in the league with eight.
Bingham staying consistent
David Bingham has been in a groove as of late, going six straight full games allowing no more than one goal. That is currently the second longest active streak in MLS, second to only LA Galaxy goalie Brian Rowe who is on a nine game run.

New Franchise, no problem
In their second season, NYCFC have been a dominant force in MLS, sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference with 36 points and a league-high of 40 goals thus far.
Playing the Top 10 tough
The Earthquakes have a strong 4-2-6 record against the top 10 teams in MLS this season.
Eastern Conference Foes
The Quakes have only fallen once to Eastern Conference opponents this season and have 2-1-3 record when playing teams from the East.
