Each of the last six meetings between the Earthquakes and FC Dallas in Frisco, Texas have finished in either a draw or a one-goal result. Neither team has been able to secure a victory by multiple goals in the Lone Star State since the Quakes prevailed 2-0 on May 26, 2011.
Lineup Shuffle:
With the return of Simon Dawkins from his one-match suspension, how will the starting XI change from last week? Tommy Thompson and Matias Perez Garcia each made their first start of the season against D.C. United, playing 90 and 75 minutes, respectively. Will either player keep their spot in the XI? Only time will tell.
Tough Stretch:
San Jose heads into Toyota Stadium for the first of three games in an eight-day span, facing the New York Red Bulls at home on Wednesday, April 13 and taking on the Portland Timbers at Providence Park on Saturday, April 16. It should be interesting to see how minutes are divided up and if lineup and roster decisions are made with this in mind.
