A recent study by CIES Football Observatory confirmed that notion, as the Quakes ranked No. 29 in the world, No. 3 among non-European clubs and No. 1 in MLS in minutes played for full national teams this calendar year.
The Earthquakes had a host of players that made at least one appearance at the highest level internationally in 2017, including Anibal Godoy (Panama), Harold Cummings (Panama), Marco Ureña (Costa Rica), Vako (Georgia), Jahmir Hyka (Albania), Darwin Ceren (El Salvador), Kip Colvey (New Zealand) and more.
