The San Jose Earthquakes 05 boys traveled to Kunming, China on July 26 to participate in the Mediterranean Champion China (MCC) Tournament. The boys were scheduled to play Asian and European teams in the tournament.
They played their first match of the tournament on July 27 against Chongqing SWM and came away with the 5-0 win.
The following day, the boys secured their second victory of the tournament after defeating Shanghai SIPG F.C. 2-0.
They then went on to defeat Russian side, Zenit, 4-2 to finish off the group stage undefeated and advanced into the Quarterfinals.
The boys took on Dalian Istar in the Quarterfinals of the MCC Tournament and came away with a 1-0 win to help them advance to the Semifinals.
The boys will be playing Hoffenheim in the semifinals of the MCC Tournament on July 31 at 7:00 p.m. Catch the stream here.
