San Jose Earthquakes striker Marco Urena started and played 56 minutes in Costa Rica’s 5-0 defeat to Spain this past Saturday.
Costa Rica faces off against Hungary Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Groupama Arena in Budapest, Hungary in their final match of 2017. These friendlies in Europe come after a busy past few months of FIFA World Cup Qualifying.
Urena was instrumental in Costa Rica’s World Cup Qualifying success in 2017, tallying three goals in his country’s final four matches.
