Technical Experience

Jesse Fioranelli (fee-or-uh-nell-ee) has worked on the technical staff of three different clubs: AS Roma (Italy), Lazio (Italy) and Samsunspor (Turkey).

While working with Roma and Lazio, Fioranelli played a crucial role in the team’s scouting and player development efforts, while overseeing all video analysis.

Proposed and implemented the “Roma Way” philosophy across the player development, scouting, talent recruitment and roster management areas of the club.

In his lone full season with Roma (2015-16), the club scored the most goals (83) and suffered the fewest defeats (4) of any team in Italy’s top division, leading to a third-place finish in Serie A and a spot in the 2016-17 UEFA Champions League Playoff round.

During his final season with Lazio (2014-15), the Rome-based club earned 69 points with a 21-11-6 record, the team’s highest point total since 2000-01.

He has strong ties to both the first team and youth academies, leading the way for Roma to scout 1,900 players (U-16+) over 17 months. He also recruited Lazio’s academy director.

Education

Fioranelli has a degree in international business, a master’s degree in business administration and speaks English, German, Italian, Spanish and French. Attended high school in Maryland so he knows the United States well.

Other Experience

• He worked at a player representation agency for six years, leading a group of 10 employees to represent clients and facilitate player transfers throughout Europe, North America and Latin America.
  
• Expert in analytics and will invest in that area to help Quakes scouting, player development and academy. Invented a communications app for the entire technical side of Roma to use.
  
• He also has experience in the financial industry, serving as a business manager for Zurich Private Banking Solutions for one year.
