Alberto Quintero: Tied First in Fouls Suffered

Tricky foot skills and a knack for getting around opponents made Alberto Quintero a nuisance for opposing teams this season. Unsure of how to contain the Panamanian midfielder, many teams turned to fouls. Quintero is tied for first across the league with F.C. Dallas’ Mauro Diaz for fouls suffered with 81. Quintero suffered a high of seven fouls during three games this season (7/8 vs. FC Dallas, 8/19 vs. Houston Dynamo, 9/28 vs. Montreal Impact). Despite the their best attempts, opposing teams could not stop Quintero. He finished the season second in the club for assists (four) and tied for third in goals (three).
