The San Jose Earthquakes earned a very noteworthy 4-1 win over red-hot Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night. Below are a few eye-opening statistics from the weekend.

  • Jackson Yueill tallied his first assist of the season and fifth of his MLS career. His assist was also the game-winner, the first of his MLS career.


  • Along with his goal last week in Houston, Yueill has now recorded a goal and/or assist in back-to-back weeks for the first time in his MLS career.


  • Paul Marie made his MLS debut in Saturday’s match against Sporting Kansas City when he came on for Cristian Espinoza in the 80th minute.


Opponent Specific

  • The Quakes’ win snapped a six-game winless streak against Sporting Kansas City, dating back to 2016 (0-5-1).
