San Jose Earthquakes eMLS Player Alan Ortega, or better known on Twitch as CaliSCG, has completed the 2020 eMLS League Series One at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pennsylvania. On Thursday, Jan. 9, CaliSCG and 24 other eMLS competitors gathered at the Philadelphia Union's stadium to kick off the first event of the 2020 eMLS Season.
On the first day of League Series One, each eMLS Player competed in 12 matches of FIFA 20 to fight for a top 8 position in order to advance to the Live Event which was held the following day.
Unfortunately for CaliSCG, a tough showing saw him finish 22nd at the end of League Series One, knocking him and 17 others out of contention for the Live Event. Not all hope is lost by any means though. CaliSCG will have another opportunity to prove himself at eMLS League Series Two in Austin, Tex. beginning February 15.
With enough points at League Series Two, CaliSCG will have a legitimate opportunity to make a comeback in the 2020 eMLS standings.
