SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Sanna Nyassi has been called to represent The Gambia in their two World Cup Qualifiers against Namibia on Oct. 9 and Oct. 13.
Nyassi, 26, has earned 12 total caps for The Gambia, scoring one goal. He most recently represented his country in an African Cup of Nations Qualifier against Cameroon on Sept. 6.
Nyassi has made 19 starts in 26 total appearances for San Jose this season, scoring two game-winning goals and adding two assists.
