Earthquakes to Aid Families Affected by San Jose Floods

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes are taking steps to aid families affected by the recent flooding in San Jose. Referred to by city officials as the worst flood in 100 years, 14,000 families were ordered to evacuate from their homes as an emergency safety measure.


The Earthquakes have set up a fundraiser page and have pledged to match the first $10,000 donated towards relief efforts.

In addition, the Quakes will provide complimentary tickets and transportation to and from shelters on Saturday morning to the team’s preseason match against Sacramento Republic FC at Avaya Stadium. More information to follow.
