You’re officially a Quakes Devotion Scarf recipient! Explain what it means to you to get this honor?

Quakes fans rallied for the team back in 2004-2005 so I am happy to be their proxy to get this honor. All Quakes fans rule.

Talk to us about your Quakes fandom. How long have you been cheering on the black & blue? What is your most memorable moment?

I bought season tickets on April 7, 1996, the day after MLS’ inaugural game and have had them ever since. Quakes rule!

Who is your favorite Quakes player and why?

There have been (arguably) more technical players than Chris Wondolowski but no one embodies the San Jose Earthquakes as does Wondo. On and off the field (not_ “pitch”) he lives and breathes the Quakes, just like us fans. That spirit shows on the field (not “pitch”) and is the main reason he’s about take the goal scoring record from “he who will not be named.” With a nod to Dwayne DeRosario and his funky chicken, to Wade Barrett and his chops, and Richard Mulrooney and his bending like Beckham cross on the 4th goal in the 2003 comeback win v. LA, it’s Wondo. All the way. (You’ll never know, Chris, how much we love you. Please don’t take my Wondo away!)_

What would be your message to Quakes fans out there?

Heed the call of Judas Priest, scream for vengeance and defend the faith of the Quakes. Or be like Monty Python and always look at the bright side of life.
