• SJE- What’s the story of how you became a Quakes fan?
Michael Rocha- I’ve been a Quakes fan since the 90’s as they were my local Northern California Team. I have fond memories of watching Landon Donovan, Dwayne De Rosario and company being home 2 mls trophies back to NorCal.
Nelson Leite- I moved from New Jersey in 2013, and as a huge soccer fan (I am Portuguese) I embraced the Quakes as my team. Shortly after I was given the opportunity to work with the Quakes and serve my Community with the Portuguese Radio Casts and I felt like the Quakes embraced me as family.

•SJE- What’s your favorite Quakes memory?
Michael Rocha- Winning the supporters shield in 2012.
Nelson Leite -The soft opening game at Levi's Stadium when the Portuguese Player Yanick Djalo scored the very first goal at that Stadium in a Quakes win
**Anderson Terra- DOING THE PLAY BY PLAY FOR THE QUAKES HAS ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT PLEASURE BUT MY FIRST GAME AS A NARRATOR WAS UNFORGETTABLE. MAY 11, 2016. QUAKES 3 X 1 HOUSTON DYNAMO

•SJE- What does receiving the Devotion Scarf mean to you?
Michael Rocha- Means a lot to be recognized by the earthquakes and be amongst other devotion scarf winners. It’s a badge of honor.
Nelson Leite -It is truly an honor, I understand how much of a unique award it is, and I am flattered that the Quakes organization appreciates what we do to connect the Portuguese Speaking Community to the club

•SJE- Who is your favorite Quakes player of all time and why?
Michael Rocha- Chris Wondolowski - Chris Wondolowski gave everything he had when he was on the field for this club. Maximum effort on the field, and one of the most humble guys off it. He never let fans go home without not having an opportunity to take a picture or get an autograph from him.
Nelson Leite -I am a huge fan of Shea Salinas, I have watched him come in the second half game after game and make a huge difference in the final score. He is fast, talented and gives it all he has every game, every time.

Nelson Leite -Keep supporting this organization, the good they do for the community is unique in so many levels and they need our support to keep growing and winning. Come to the stadium with family and friends, it is always a fun venue and the ambiance is second to none in MLS. This Club is a great thing that we have here, let's keep it going!
