Meghan Intro

• What’s the story of how you became a Quakes fan?

Meghan- When I was about 7 or 8 my mom put me in PAL soccer. We were invited to play a scrimmage before the Earthquakes' game at Spartan stadium. After our game, we were asked to be ballgirls behind the Quakes goalie. That experience sparked a love of the Earthquakes and for soccer, in general, that has been with me since the early 1980s.

• What’s your favorite Quakes memory?

Meghan-The most exciting and heart-stopping memory I have experienced was when the earthquakes were down 4 goals in the 2003 playoffs and we came back to win over the LA Galaxy. I was at Spartan that night...and it was amazing!

• What does receiving the Devotion Scarf mean to you?

Meghan- It is really an honor and nice to know that my devotion to the team is appreciated and acknowledged.

• Who is your favorite Quakes player of all time and why?

Meghan- Has to be..hands down.. Steven Lenhart. Steven is an amazing player. He always had a winning goal up his sleeve and he was the founder of our Never Say Die mantra. I have had the pleasure of talking with him a bit and he is a genuinely nice guy.

• What would you like to say to all the Quakes fans out there?

Meghan- This year was tough but when you bleed black and blue you know we will come back with a vengeance!!
