What’s the story of how you became a Quakes fan?

Ivan- I became a Quakes fan when I attended my first Quakes game ever which was at Spartan Stadium. That game was in 2004 versus DC United, the game ended in a 1-1 tie, and since then I have been supporting the Quakes.

Noel- I remember when my parents took us to our first SJ Clash game at Spartan Stadium. Since then I have been a fan and support the club.

What’s your favorite Quakes memory?

Ivan- It would be the 6/29/2013 Cali Clasico at Stanford Stadium, losing 0-2 with 25 minutes to go, Alan Gordon scores to make it 1-2, then in stoppage time Shea Salinas ties it up 2-2 in the 92nd minute and then Gordon scores the game-winner in the 93rd minute was unreal. Two goals in stoppage time to win the Cali Clasico 3 to 2 was epic. #beatLAGalaxy

Noel- My favorite quakes memory goes back to a couple of months ago. We traveled to Austin in August to go see them play against Austin FC. We witnessed an awesome game on our actual birthday, and possibly the best goal by the quakes this year which was scored by Marie. We almost got the win, but the 3-3 was well worth it.

What does receiving the Devotion Scarf mean to you?

Ivan- I feel very humble, never did I think that my work of selling merchandise for the team on game days for more than 10 years would be acknowledged, thanks.

Noel- I never thought I would be a nominee for the Devotion Scarf. Receiving this honor means that my hard work and support for the quakes has been noticed by the club.

Who is your favorite Quakes player of all time and why?

Ivan- Without a doubt, Chris Wondolowski. He is a great player and person. I witnessed a handful of his goals while being on my break from selling merchandise during game days.

Noel- This one could be a close one. I remember Donovon and the Earthquakes championships, but watching Wondo play for all these years will make him my favorite Quakes player. His dedication and effort on and off the field make him a true MLS legend. #Wondo

What would you like to say to all the Quakes fans out there?

Ivan- Do not give up on the team, keep supporting the team, Vamos San José.
