ACADEMY UPDATE
Earthquakes Academy products Abigail Borchers, Israel Carrillo, Gilbert Fuentes, Sophie Jones, Andrea Kitahata and Casey Walls have been named to United Soccer Coaches’ 2018 All-West Region Team, which honors the top ranked youth players on the West Coast.
The Earthquakes Academy will resume USSDA league play this week following a three-week hiatus due to poor air quality.
On Thursday, Nov. 29, the U-17 and U-19 Earthquakes Boys’ Academy squads will begin their 2018 USSDA Winter Showcase campaign in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. The Earthquakes will take on the Houston Dynamo, D.C. United, Columbus Crew, Empire United and Saint Louis FC.
This Saturday, Dec. 1, the U-13 and U-14 Boys’ Academy squads will host San Juan SC. Times and locations for all of the Boy’s Academy matches can be found here.
