ACADEMY UPDATE
Nine Earthquakes Boys' Academy players have been named to U.S. Soccer's U-14 North Cal Select roster for the West Regional Mini-Camp in Carson, Calif. The Quakes players called up include defenders Kevin Hwong, Ethan Kohler and Nathan Rodrigues, midfielders Alex Chow, Martin Kwende Jr. and Randol Villa, and forwards Jose Cortez, Alex Salazar and Dylan Tellado.
The Quakes Boys' Academy will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 26 as they take on the Silicon Valley Soccer Academy. Times and locations for these matches can be found here.
The Quakes Girls' Academy played Lamorinda Soccer Club on Saturday, Jan. 19. The U-14s won 9-1, the U-15s won 2-1, the U-17s tied 1-1 and the U-19s lost 1-0. This Saturday, Jan. 26, the Girls' Academy will take on California Thorns FC. Times and locations for these matches can be found here.
