Six players of the San Jose Earthquakes Girls’ Academy have been called to the United States U-14 West Regional Mini-Camp in Chula Vista, Calif. from Feb. 5-9. The Quakes, Colorado Rapids and Legends FC will be the most-represented clubs at the camp; each sending six players. Find out more here.
The Boys’ Academy returned to action last Saturday with the U-13 and U-14 teams winning over San Juan FC 7-0 and 3-0, respectively. The Academy U-17 and U-19 teams faced the UPSL’s Monterey County Jaguars also on Saturday in a friendly match at Evergreen Valley College in preparation for their second phase of the season. The Quakes Academy U-19 and U-17 teams earned victories, winning 4-1 and 3-0, respectively as well.
The Girls’ Academy will play their first match on Feb. 8 vs. Utah Royals FC in Arizona.
