The Quakes Boys’ Academy faced Breakers FC on Saturday, March 23. The U-12s played and won in two matches against Breakers FC. They outscored their opponents 6-1 in the first match, and 3-0 in the second. The U-13s and U-14s each earned shutout victories by a score of 3-0 and 1-0, respectively. The U-15s needed only four minutes to get their lead back and win 2-1 after conceding a goal in the 63rd minute that leveled the match at 1-1. The U-17s were defeated 2-1, but the U-19s were able to add one more win (1-0) over Breakers FC.
This weekend, the Boys’ Academy has matches scheduled against San Francisco Elite Academy, Pateadores, Star Academy, and FC Golden State. Times and locations for these matches can be found here.
The Girls’ Academy U-15s won 6-1 in against California Thorns FC. Four of the six goals scored by the Quakes came in the first half. The Quakes’ U-15 Girls remain undefeated with a 20-0-3 record and maintain their position as the nation’s top team.
