The San Jose Earthquakes Boys’ Academy U-15s outscored opponents 11-2 in wins over Chongqing SWM (5-0), Shanghai SIPG F.C (2-0) and Zenit (4-2) in the group stage of the Mediterranean Champion China (MCC) Tournament. After an undefeated run in the group stage, they continued their positive momentum with a 1-0 win over Dalian Istar in quarterfinals, and a penalty shootout win against Hoffenheim in semifinals. After five straight wins, the boys fell short in the championship match, falling 6-0 to Zenit. The Boys return to San Jose with the runners-up medal of the MCC Tournament.
