Last weekend, the Boys’ Academy teams faced De Anza Force Academy. The U-13s tied 1-1, U-14s lost 4-2, U-15s tied 1-1, U-17s lost 4-2 and U-19s won 1-0. First-Team players Gilbert Fuentes and Jacob Akanyirige both featured in the U-19’s 1-0 win over De Anza Force.
The U-13, U-14 and U-15 Boys’ Academy teams will take on Ballistic United on Saturday, April 14.
The Girls’ Academy teams have tallied a 6-0-1 record so far in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Spring Showcase. On April 6, the U-14s drew 2-2 against Penn Fusion Soccer Academy. On April 7, the U-14s won 5-2 against the North Carolina Courage, the U-15s won 3-1 against Weston FC and the U-17s won 4-2 against Cincinnati Development Academy. On April 9, the U-14s won 5-1 against FC Virginia, the U-15s won 1-0 against the North Carolina Courage and the U-17s won 4-1 against New York City FC.
The U-15s will face Real Colorado and the U-17s will face Sky Blue PDA for their final matches of the Spring Showcase.
