Last weekend, the Boys’ Academy teams tallied a perfect 3-0-0 record against Ballistic United. The U-13s won 3-0, U-14s won 4-1 and the U-15s won 1-0, improving the 0-1-2 record they tallied against Ballistic back in March.
The Boys’ Academy teams will take on EBU Bay Oaks and Barca Academy on Saturday, April 21. They will face San Joaquin Valley Soccer Association and Real Salt Lake on Sunday, April 22. Times and locations for the matches can be found here.
Last weekend, the Girls’ Academy teams tallied a 3-1-0 record against the Portland Thorns. The U-14s won 3-0, U-15s won 3-0, U-17s won 1-0 and the U-19s lost 6-0.
The U-17 and U-19 Girls’ Academy teams will take on San Diego Surf on Saturday, April 21 and Albion SC on Sunday, April 22. Times and locations for the matches can be found here.
In other news, Homegrown midfielder Gilbert Fuentes has been called up to the U-17 Men’s National Team to participate in the Sportchain Cup in Benicassim, Spain. Fuentes and the U-17s won their first match 1-0 against India. The U-17s will take on India for the second time on April 19 and they will face Norway on April 17 and April 19.
