Earthquakes Academy products Cade Cowell and Gilbert Fuentes are currently competing in the Four Nations Tournament with the United States U-17 Men’s National Team. The international competition features the U.S., Argentina, Chile and hosts Mexico. In the U-17s’ first match of the tournament, the U.S. fell 2-1 to Argentina in the Centro de Alto Rendimiento in Mexico City, Mexico.
Cowell, 14, started for the U-17s and was subbed off at halftime.
Fuentes, 16, was subbed in at the 58th minute and would go on to play the remainder of the match.
