When was the first moment you became an Earthquakes fan? 

• My dad used to take me when I was young to Spartan Stadium and watch the Clash all the time. I have been a fan for a long time. 

What is your best memory of Spartan Stadium? 

• Man just hearing all of the chants, being around all of the fans and being exposed to the game young was awesome. My dad was from Mexico and he was a big soccer fan, so seeing him light up and get all excited was contagious. 

Can you tell us more about PATH and the work you do with the Earthquakes? 

• PATH is our nonprofit organization that serves the homeless. We are the largest homeless provider in California. We create a wide range of services for people experiencing homelessness but our main mission is providing housing. We do that by building affordable housing. The Earthquakes have been amazing in that partnership, providing pantry shelf items, hygiene kits, and even essential items and furnishing for the affordable housing we are creating. 

Other than your work, what keeps you involved with the sport?

•  Getting to know the players like Shea Salinas, they are very personable people and very down to earth. It's pretty cool, it keeps me being a fan knowing that the players are good people, they are personable and here for the right reasons. I definitely enjoy following players like Ebobisse who is really involved with the community and really trying to bring awareness to issues. I can really appreciate that about him. 

What does it mean to you to receive this award from the club? 

• It is really cool. To get a little personal, like I said my dad is the one that brought me to Spartan Stadium. I lost my dad in the beginning of this year, he has installed everything I had when it comes to giving. For the Quakes to give me that platform and allow me to share that with everyone else is amazing. I am a representation of what everybody in Santa Clara does, from our case managers, housing specialists, you know everybody, they all put in so much work and it's great to be part of an organization that genuinely cares for their clients. I am honored to be representing them as a whole.
