How long have you worked for the Earthquakes?

I have worked for the Earthquakes since 2008. When the team started in San Jose again, I began to work for the club. I was a fan of the team before I started working for them though

What is your favorite Earthquakes Memory?

My favorite memory was when Espinoza was playing for the team. He was a very good player and I loved watching him play. They were a very talented team.

Since working here, what has been your favorite memory working here?

My favorite memory, and a special day for me, was when Wondo broke the scoring record. That moment was so exciting, I have known him the whole time he played in San Jose and it made so many people happy.

Do you have a favorite player of all time?

Shea Salinas, is my favorite. I love when he is playing on the field because he brings such good energy to the team/and as a player. He has that voice to motivate the team more.

Do you have pride when you see players on the field that you take care of everyday, and what does it mean to you?

I am from a small town in Mexico. Coming and working here for a professional team is a huge honor. It makes me feel like my mom and dad would be proud of what I am doing. Nobody ever imagined I could come and work for a professional team. It makes me feel proud to take care of this field.

What does it mean to you to receive the honor of the Earthquakes Devotion Scarf?

It feels special. People watch you for many years, and pay attention to what you do. I am the garden and grounds keeping guy and people see what I do and how much I care about our field. I am so excited to celebrate this honor with my family.
