The opening of the VTA Pedestrian Undercrossing at Santa Clara Station was the start of a new era for Quakes fans taking Caltrain to the game. Previously left to take a shuttle or a very, very long walk, the tunnel provides a no nonsense route to Quakes games cutting travel times down significantly and encouraging more and more to take public transportation to Avaya Stadium.
