SAN JOSE, Calif. - It's official! The Quakes have acquired 25-year-old Panamanian midfielder Anibal Godoy.

1. Born: Feb. 10, 1990 in Panama City, Panama.
2. Has represented Panama in the three Gold Cups, reaching the semifinals in 2011, the final in 2013 and capturing third place in 2015.
3. Played all 90 minutes in five of the six matches for Panama in the 2015 Gold Cup, including their draw with the United States in the group stage and their victory over the U.S. in the third place game.
4. Godoy most recently played for Budapest Honved FC in the top league in Hungary.
5. Prior to joining Budapest Honved FC, Godoy appeared in 113 matches for Chepo FC in Panama between 2007 and 2013, scoring 10 goals.
6. Represented Panama at the 2007 U-20 FIFA World Cup in Canada.
7. Earned his first cap for Panama’s senior team on March 3, 2010 as a starter in a 2-1 win against Venezuela at the age of 20.
