Earthquakes II defeated Timbers2 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at PayPal Park. Jack Skahan, Diego Otoya, and Erick Reyes each scored to give Quakes II their first win at PayPal Park. Additionally, 17-year-old Emi Ochoa earned his second shutout of the season.
Earthquakes II opened the scoring in the 15th minute via penalty by Skahan, followed by a beautiful backheel goal from Otoya in the 29th minute to give the home side a 2-0 lead at halftime. Quakes II would later score their third and final goal through Reyes in the 86th minute.
Quakes II will continue their three-match homestand when they host Colorado Rapids 2 on Sunday, May 15. Kickoff from PayPal Park is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT and the match will be broadcast live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
