HERRIMAN, Utah – Earthquakes II defeated Real Monarchs 1-0 on Friday evening at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah. The victory sees Quakes II earn their second consecutive win and their third shutout of the season. Quakes II opened the scoring in the 49th minute through Max Arfsten and held onto the lead for the remainder of the game.
Earthquakes II will now return to San Jose before traveling to Canada to face Whitecaps FC 2 on Friday, June 24. Kickoff from Swangard Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT and the match will be broadcast live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
