CARSON, Calif. – Earthquakes II defeated Galaxy II 4-1 on Sunday night at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif. Galaxy II struck first in the sixth minute, but Earthquakes II quickly found the equalizer when Cruz Medina finished a ball from Keegan Tingey in the 14th minute.
Quakes II took the lead in the 30th minute after Ousseni Bouda intercepted a Galaxy II pass and completed a 30-yard solo dribble before finding the back of the net. Bouda earned a brace on the night by finishing a Will Richmond pass in the 66th minute. Eduardo Blancas finished off the scoring in the 87th minute courtesy of a through ball from Ousseni Bouda.
Earthquakes II will now prepare to face Real Monarchs on the road on Wednesday, August 9. The match will kick off from Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah at 7 p.m. PT and will be streamed globally on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
