PORTLAND, Ore. – Earthquakes II earned a 2-0 win over Timbers2 on Sunday evening at Providence Park in Portland, Ore. Quakes II took an early lead on a penalty kick converted by Eduardo Blancas in the 10th minute. Keegan Tingey doubled the lead 20 minutes later. Israel Carrillo headed the ball to Tingey, who shot it into the net. Quakes II held on to the lead for the remainder of the match and secured their second consecutive shutout.
Quakes II will now return to San Jose to host Real Monarchs on Sunday, April 9. The match will kick off at 5 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
