ARLINGTON, Texas. – Earthquakes II defeated North Texas SC 1-0 on Friday evening at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Both sides played scoreless through regular time when Quakes II found the late game-winner in the 90+2nd minute from homegrown Cruz Medina. Martin ‘Mukah’ Kwende Jr. crossed the ball into the box for Medina to volley into the back of the net, securing the 1-0 victory in extra time.
Earthquakes II will now prepare to face Houston Dynamo 2 on the road on Sunday, June 25. The match will kick off from SaberCats Stadium in Houston, Texas, at 4 p.m. PT and will be streamed globally on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
