FULLERTON, Calif. – Earthquakes II fell to LAFC2 2-1 on Sunday night at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, Calif. LAFC2 opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a tap in goal by Favian Vazquez and doubled the lead in the 21st minute with a Nathan Ordaz goal to the bottom right corner of the net. Quakes II battled back in the 43rd minute when Jose David Serrano found Eduardo Blancas for a hard struck shot from just beyond the six-yard box.
Earthquakes II will now prepare to face Sporting KC II on the road on Sunday, July 16. The match will kick off from Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kansas at 4 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
