SAN JOSE, Calif. – Earthquakes II defeated LAFC2 1-0 in the final match of the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro regular season on Sunday afternoon at PayPal Park in San Jose, Calif. Ousseni Bouda put away the game’s only goal in the 56th minute off an Eduardo Blancas pass to send Quakes II to the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs.
Earthquakes II have now advanced to the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs as the sixth qualifying spot. 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Playoff seeding will be announced on Tuesday, Sept. 26 with matches set to begin the weekend of Sept. 28. All playoff matches will be streamed globally on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
