Quakes II opened the scoring in the 33rd minute through midfielder Roberto Hategan, with recent acquisition Jose David Serrano tallying an assist in his first match. Goalkeeper Emi Ochoa would make four crucial saves in the second half to help Earthquakes II secure the 1-0 victory and remain unbeaten on the road (3-0-0).
Earthquakes II will return to San Jose and prepare to host Whitecaps FC 2 on Thursday, May 25. The match will kick off from PayPal Park at 7 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on MLSNEXTpro.com.
