SAN JOSE, Calif. – Earthquakes II fell to Colorado Rapids 2 2-0 on Sunday evening at PayPal Park. The two teams went scoreless through the first half before Colorado opened the scoring in the 50th minute by Pariss Mitchell. Rapids 2 later doubled their lead through Yosuke Hanya in second half stoppage time.
Quakes II will now have a bye week in MLS NEXT Pro play and will face Monterey Bay F.C. 2 in the ‘Salinas Classic’ on Saturday, April 22, presented by Valley Health Plan. The friendly match will kick off from Rabobank Stadium in Salinas at 4 p.m. PT. For tickets and information, click here.
