If you thought players & coaches were the only things being added for the 2018 season, think again. The Quakes are proud to introduce "Figuring It Out" by Bay Area band SWMRS as the new goal song for the 2018 season at Avaya Stadium. The Oakland natives have made a name for themselves growing up in the Bay Area music scene & touring their debut album "Drive North" extensively around the world since it's initial release in 2016.
The group released two successful albums under the name Emily's Army prior to forming SWMRS. The natural Bay Area tie-in & energetic single which received heavy radio play will surely be embraced by Quakes fans every time the ball hits the back of the net. The song will kick in at the 1:55 mark after a goal is scored and blast into a guitar solo that should compliment the chaotic celebrations perfectly.
"Never Say Die," the Quakes' anthem by The Old Firm Casuals will of course remain in use for goals scored past the 75th minute, as well as in the last seconds before kickoff.
