SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski has been added to the United States Men’s National Team roster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The USMNT will take on Honduras at Avaya Stadium in San Jose on March 24 (7:30 p.m.) before traveling to Panama City to take on Panama on March 28 (7 p.m.).
Wondolowski, 34, is one of the most productive strikers in Major League Soccer history. Among all players to feature in MLS, Wondolowski ranks third in game-winning goals (38), tied for third in hat tricks (4), fourth in total goals (122) and ninth in shots (703) and shots on goal (310).
Wondolowski has made 35 prior appearances for the United States, scoring 11 goals.
