Setting Them Up for Success
Shea Salinas recorded his second assist of the season on Wednesday vs. New York, giving him 38 for his career. It marked his 35th assist with the Earthquakes, moving him into a tie with Eddie Lewis for third most in club history. He has now tallied assists in two of the last three games.
Squeaky Clean
On Wednesday, David Bingham made five saves to register his second clean sheet of the season and 14th of his career.
Playing from Ahead
The Earthquakes have now scored first in four of the six games so far this season, tallying an undefeated 3-0-1 record in those contests.
Game Winner
Midfielder Fatai Alashe scored the first game-winning goal of his career on Wednesday. It also marked his first goal of the season, third of his career and first since September 12, 2015.

Alashe is the fifth Earthquakes player to find the back of the net this season, joining Wondolowski, Quincy Amarikwa, Alberto Quintero and Adam Jahn.
