U.S. Open Cup: Played 12 minutes in 2-0 loss to the Portland Timbers at Providence Park on June 14.

2015 (San Jose Earthquakes): MLS: Made 13 starts in 14 total MLS appearances before sustaining a season-ending Achilles injury … Tallied his first career game-winning assist vs. Columbus Crew SC on May 16 ... U.S. Open Cup: Did not play vs. Sacramento Republic FC on June 16 … Did not play vs. the LA Galaxy on July 1 … ICC: Started and played 45 minutes vs. Club America on July 14 … Started and played 45 minutes vs. Manchester United on July 21.

2013 (San Jose Earthquakes): Debuted with the Earthquakes on July 27 in a 2-1 win against the Portland Timbers ... Started 12 regular season games during which the team was 7-2-3 ... Part of a backline that limited opponents to two goals in all competitions over the final two months of the season ... Made one appearance during CONCACAF Champions League group play, going the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 win against CD Heredia on Oct. 23.

2012-13 (Coventry City/Notts County): In July of 2012 Stewart signed with English third division club, Notts County … Stewart made nine appearances for the club in all competitions, starting all nine and scoring one goal … Stewart’s lone goal came in a 4-1 defeat to Stewart’s former club, Sheffield United in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy … In Mar. of 2013, Stewart joined Coventry City of the English third division on a free transfer and signed a three-month contract … Stewart started and appeared in six games for the Sky Blues.

2011-12 (Millwall): Stewart was signed by the Championship side Millwall in the English second division in the summer of 2011 … Stewart started six games and made an appearance in seven for the Lions in all competitions … Stewart started three games in Championship League play – the most notable was a 0-0 draw with eventual league champion West Ham United, who would be promoted to the English Premier League.

2010-11 (AO Xanthi): Stewart signed a contract with Greek Super League team, AO Xanthi … Stewart made 14 league appearances during his time with Xanthi and recorded a goal against Iraklis on Nov. 6, 2010 … Stewart’s goal in the 73^rd minute was the game-tying goal in a 2-2 draw … Stewart also started and played the full 120 minutes in the opening round of league playoffs.

2009-10 (Derby County/Sheffield United): In Sep. 2009, on the final day of the transfer window, Stewart was sent from Derby County to Sheffield United in exchange for midfielder Lee Hendrie … He made 15 starts in 23 appearances for the English League One side.

2008-09 (Watford/Derby County): In the summer of 2008 Stewart made a free transfer from Watford to Derby County … Stewart made 26 total appearances in League Championship competition, starting all 33 games … He also made five starts in the Capital One Cup and two starts in the English FA Cup … Stewart recorded two goals and two assists during his time with Derby County … Stewart’s goal against Preston Town a 2-2 was the equalizer in the 32^nd minute in a 2-2 draw … Stewarts first goal for Derby County came in a 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.  

2007-08: In the 2007-08 season Stewart made 47 appearances, starting 39 of those games … Stewart recorded two goals and two assists … Stewart’s first goal of the campaign came in the 87 minute of the first game of the season – a 2-1 win over Wolverhamption Wolves.

2006-07 (Watford): Stewart started 30 games and made 31 appearances for Watford in the Premier League and recorded two assists … Stewart also started five non-league matches.

2005-06 (Watford): In 2005, Steward was signed by Watford … Stewart made 41 appearances  across all competitions, starting 35 games … Stewart helped Watford to gain promotion to the English Premier League for the following season.

2004-05 (Leicester City): In Stewart’s final season with Leicester City he appeared in 36 league games and recorded a single goal and assist … He also made four appearances in other competitions.

2003-04 (Leicester City): Stewart made 25 appearances and recorded a goal and two assists in his second stint in the EPL … Stewart’s lone goal of the season was the game winner in a 3-0 win over Manchester City … The 2003-04 Leicester City side finished the campaign with their best point total in club history with 33 points, but were still relegated back to the League Championship.

2002-03 (Leicester City): In his second season with the club Stewart had a break out year making 37 appearances in League Championship, 29 of which were starts … Stewart recorded a career high four goals scored in league play, including game winners against Milton Keynes Dons in the 81st minute,  Rotherham United in the 67th minute and against Brighton and Hove Albion in the 45th minute … Stewart made 41 appearances in all competitions in the 2002/2003 season on route to helping Leicester City to promotion back to the English Premier League.

2001-02 (Leicester City): Returning to Leicester City, Stewart made 10 appearances across all competitions … Leicester City was relegated after the 2001-02 campaign to the English League Championship.

1990-00 (Leicester City/Bristol): Stewart signed his first professional contract with Leicester City in the summer of 1999 … He made one appearance for Leicester City in the Premier League on Jan. 22, 2000 against West Ham United before being loaned to Bristol Rovers … Stewart made four appearances with the Division Two side

International: Stewart made four appearances for the U-18 England National Team in 2001 … He also made a single appearance for the U-21 England National Team in 2003.

Personal: Stewart was born Mar. 3, 1982 in Birmingham, England … Stewart created a clothing line with good friend and fellow English defender Joleon Lescott, which launched in 2012.
